| Tempo with Sasha and Ted on Provo River Trail. 10 miles of tempo. We started off fast after a 3 mile warmup. The first three miles were bone shaking fast. I stopped at Vivian to go to the bathroom. We continued to Riverwoods. I lost some steam around 6.5. My left foot started to get a bit sore so I lacked some pushoff. Sasha kept up honest to the finish. My legs felt okay but a little tired from picking up the pace this week. We cooled down two miles back to the car. It was nice to run with someone during a long workout. Usually that is Bob but he is still nursing his hamstring. I'm starting to feel better about St. George. |

| Liberty park tempo. 5 mile warmup in flats, two loops of tempo around inner loop (stroller path). 7:44, 8:04 Too fast on the first 1/2 of the first loop. I felt okay and the flats felt good. I could have done more but this is my first day in flats. I will try to run in them once a week until St. George. |
